1. Introduction

SubVox (“the App”) is provided by Chris Canfield Entertainment (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how SubVox handles information when you use the App on iOS and watchOS devices. SubVox is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any personal data, audio recordings, transcripts, or other user content processed by the App unless you explicitly enable an optional feature.

All processing occurs locally on your device unless you choose to send information to a third-party service. By using SubVox, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personal data. We do not store audio recordings. We do not store transcripts or extracted text beyond the moment displayed. We do not operate servers or receive any user data. We do not access or view third-party integration keys or conversational AI credentials. We do not track users or create user profiles. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising identifiers, or crash-reporting systems. We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information.

3. Information Processed on Your Device

3-1 Audio Input & Speech Recognition

SubVox uses the iOS microphone and Speech framework to perform speech-to-text conversion. Audio capture occurs only when initiated by the user. Audio may be captured on the device and processed in real time, and is never stored or transmitted to the developer unless you enable an optional third-party transmission feature.

3-2 Transcripts and Extracted Keywords

SubVox temporarily generates transcripts and extracts text between user-defined keywords. These outputs are displayed momentarily and are not retained on the device long-term. Once dismissed or overwritten, they cannot be recovered.

4. User-Provided Personal Data

SubVox does not collect or store personal data as a general practice. Any personal information you speak into the App or its watchOS component is processed locally and temporarily for speech recognition and keyword extraction, and is not stored or transmitted to the developer.

Optional Conversational AI Feature

SubVox includes an optional conversational AI feature that you can enable. If you choose to use this feature, you must provide your own credentials for a third-party AI provider. When enabled:

• Text may be sent directly from your device to the AI provider you select.

• SubVox does not receive, store, or process that data on our own servers.

• You are responsible for reviewing the privacy practices of any provider you choose.

This disclosure and user consent are required before any personal data leaves your device for third-party AI processing.

5. Third-Party Integrations

SubVox allows users to connect with third-party services such as MysterSmith, Inject, and other services you select. We do not access, collect, or store third-party credentials or conversational AI provider keys. Integration keys and AI credentials are stored locally in the iOS Keychain. All transmissions to third parties occur only at the user’s direction. SubVox does not control how third-party services handle data once received. Users should review the privacy policies of any third-party services they choose to use.

6. No Tracking, Profiling, or Analytics

SubVox does not track user behavior, collect analytics, use advertising identifiers, profile users, or implement cookies or similar tracking tools. If analytics features are added in the future, this Policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Children’s Privacy

SubVox is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has used the App contrary to this requirement, please contact us.

8. User Rights Under GDPR

Although SubVox does not collect or store personal data on servers, GDPR and related laws require that users be informed of their rights. Because SubVox stores no personal data outside your device and only ever forwards data to third-parties with your explicit consent, these rights may be exercised by adjusting device settings or uninstalling the App.

9. International Users

SubVox is operated from the United States. We do not transfer user data internationally, as we do not collect or store such data.

10. Security Measures

SubVox uses industry-standard on-device protections. Integration keys and conversational AI credentials are secured in the iOS Keychain. No personal data is transmitted to external servers by the developer without your explicit action. Audio, transcripts, and extracted text are temporary and are destroyed immediately after use. Recording and transmission occur only through intentional user action.

11. watchOS Component

The watchOS companion app follows the same privacy model as the iOS version. No data is stored or transmitted except when initiated by the user. Audio spoken into the watch is processed and discarded locally.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements. The updated version will be effective when posted within the App or accompanying materials.
